Monksleigh have recently produced a report that collates all of the key metrics and data provisions on the residual waste EFW plants operating throughout the UK – comprising more than 20,000 data points, and 258 annual reports over 6 years of available data plus the most recent data from WasteDataFlow.
To get an idea of the content and to view one of the dashboards, download a free extract here. Each site has two dashboards covering not only the operational data but also the drive time ‘reach’ of the site and the local authority tonnage received in 2021.
Not included within the free extract, but available to view within the full report, are the summary metrics which allow the reader to look at the sites as a whole and see how a specific site fits into the overall distribution of data presented.
We believe that by making both the aggregated data and the individual site data and trends available, it gives far more insight into the market and the risks of using averages/means when looking at plant performance. We also believe that the report gives a strong insight as to the distances waste currently travels to EfW sites from local authorities – and allows the reader to determine if this is a sustainable distribution over time.
