Unimetals Ltd approached Monksleigh to ask for our support and expertise to assist them with the Environmental and Health and Safety Due Diligence in relation to their potential acquisition of the Sims Metals Group UK Ltd

The project had a very intense timeline, and it quickly became evident that effective prioritisation was key to the successful delivery of this project 

Given our diverse office locations we were able to respond to the brief directly with our team and wider associates covering each corner of England and Wales simultaneously and all within 1.5 hrs of their office locations.

Our comprehensive reports and assessments were crucial to supporting the investors - allowing the practical and operational quantification of risks, understanding the business systems and approaches in dealing with such risks, and allowing Unimetals to ensure the value placed was commensurate with their evaluation.  

The offer from Unimetals to acquire Sims Metals Group UK Ltd was accepted in September 2024 and Monksleigh remained delighted to have been part of this hugely successful project.
