Slough Multifuel facility (SMF) is a new 55 MW energy from waste facility producing heat and electricity through the combustion of c. 480,000 tonnes per annum of waste derived fuels from various sources of municipal solid waste, commercial and industrial waste and waste wood.

Riverside 1 identified a requirement to undertake more extensive sampling and analysis of their waste input across multiple customers with a view to better understand the potential implications of the UK ETS.

Monksleigh was initially commissioned by Fornax to undertake a market appraisal of the UK’s current clinical and hazardous waste market and the evaluation of potential future sites.
